When creating my website, I had a series of pages containing information about the film that I wanted to include. The first being the synopsis- or 'About'. This summarised the plot of our trailer along with an insight of the characters and concerns that the trailer raises. I used WiX to create my website. From my research, I discovered that conventionally, film websites have a gallery to intrigue audiences as they get an exclusive insight into the film- with the pictures succinctly capturing key scenes and characters. I used the import image tool from WiX which helped me collate the photos. I included a casting section on my website to legitimise my production to viewers, giving mention to the actors previous roles and work experience from the entertainment industry.
To further the authenticity of my film and the website, I have included awards and a nominations section. I used well regarded awards such as an Oscar award along with five stars reviews. I imported the award templates from the internet and used WiX's photo editing tools in order to make them consistently gold- which matches my black and white colour scheme.
I uploaded my trailer onto my films website- this being the main attraction for audiences. I used Final Cut Pro in order to edit my production. WiX's importing video tool allowed me to upload our trailer for viewers to watch and be engaged by. My website includes many opportunities to follow the film on other social media platforms such as Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. This encourages our viewer to keep tabs on our film, following the updates on the film and release date.
I decided to incorporate a brief summary of our production company which involves what the company specialises in along with previous productions we have worked on.
